THE FOOD CRISIS

TWO POSTERS, TWO AUDIENCES, ONE CAUSE.

BRIEF

I chose a social topic, conducted research, and collected data. Using that information, I created two infographic posters that are targeted toward two different audiences.

Poster 1: The U.S. Food Crisis

Target Audience: Ages 10-14 (Middle School Age)

For this poster I aimed to create something that felt like it could be hung in a classroom. I wanted the poster to be both informational and visually inviting for a younger audience.

Poster 2: The Global Food Crisis

Target Audience: Ages 18-24 (College Age)

Upon conducting my research I kept coming across references to the IPC/CH Food Crisis Stages, but it was never explained what that was. For this poster I aimed to communicate the information in a clean and concise manner, as well as featuring a big visual piece to attract the audience. I was able to push myself with this poster, learning Blender 3D, to create the globe I used.
