ABOUT

  • I chose the organization, Girls. inc. for my semester long rebrand. The first change I made was to change the name to “girls.” For the rebrand, I aimed to update the brand identity to connect with “modern day girl” and expand outreach and funding. When it came to the logo and colors, I wanted to pay homage to the recognizable and historical logo and red color while creating a fresh and new look. I also made updates to programs and events to enhance the experience! I created a color coordinated separate identity for each program to keep everything easy to organize for girls in multiple programs.

I spent the majority of the semester developing an 80 page brand guideline booklet along with condensed guidelines. They outline the brand identity updates, why they were made, and how to use them in the future. It was designed to be in a spread view.
